Yesterday I went for my doctor appointment. I got my rhogham shot and did the gestational diabetes test, yippee. We also did another ultrasound and I was able to see the baby's face really well- very cute :) It is definitely another little girl and she likes to stay in a breech position. That explains why my bladder gets a workout, it's her own personal trampoline :) She is measuring around 2lbs 9 oz at 28 weeks, so that makes me feel good. We had growth issues with the first one, so it's always reassuring to know baby is growing well. I have finally gained a few pounds, which I'm trying to be ok with :) We also scheduled a cesarean for August 11th, however it could change if we need it to. I start going to the doctor every two weeks now...
So, I finally got some input from my husband, and we have narrowed down some names. We both like Samantha, which my dad and grandfather's name was Samuel. I think Abigail is cute for a middle name, Samantha Abigail.
I really like Callista Faith. Callista means 'most beautiful' and for a cute nickname we could call her Callie.
Matt likes the name Christiana, kind of a mouthful, but his mom found an ancestor of theirs with that name from the 1700s, and he thinks that's neat :) Christiana Faith is pretty.
So, maybe we'll decide soon. Men are hard to pin down on stuff like this! I've been up since before 5am. Not by choice, just woke up, then I get hungry, then baby starts moving a lot...might as well get up huh? Hmm, I hear children already and it's not even 6:30 yet. Guess it's time to get moving :)

PTL that everything is going well with the baby! A girl! Did you really expect anything else? :) I am still partial to Brylee. My niece is named Brylie Taylor.
I love Christiana Faith. I think its beautiful. Ok, one of my daughters name is Christina, but still...lol

I love the name Christiana. A little girl at our church has that name. It seems so victorian and feminine. I am so happy that things are going well for you. God bless.
Gotta love those rhogam shots. LOL! I hate them. I love the name Christiana. You could always call her Christy for short.
Remember my friend Vickie, who just had baby number 5? She named her Callista, and they call her Callie for short. Too cute. :-)
Hi,
I just clicked over to your blog from Candy's and read this post about your new baby. I see that you are having a c-section. I don't know what kind of support you have but I know that the doctors were I live frown on multiple c-s....However I have had 5 c-sections without any problems. I don't know anyone IRL that has had more than 2 so when I went past that I was worried. So this long note is really meant as an encouragement to you whether this is your 1st or 4th. Don't let the doctors scare you. Everyone's body is different. My doctor for #3 told me that my body could only handle one more pregnancy and that the baby would have to come at 38 weeks to be safe. But I had a different doctor for#4 and #5. Both babies were born at 40 weeks. No problems. My new doctor said we could have baby #6 if we wanted.
I always worry that doctors are scaring women with the "only 3" c/s line.
While I know c/s are no ones first choice...sometimes you just have to make the best of an imperfect thing and remember a healthy baby is the important thing.
Sorry for the long ramble....
hugs,
