Today

Wow, today was a busy but good day. My glyconutrients came in last Thursday and I've been taking it along with Leiah. Since I upped the dosage I can really tell a difference in how I feel. I take half a teaspoon twice a day, mixed in some juice. There's no smell or taste to me- I remember someone commented that it was gross. I'm sure it's also power from the Holy Spirit, but still, I'm amazed at how much better I feel already.

I hadn't intended to do all that I did today, but I did and I'm glad I got it done. I also planned to create more structure for my kids. At 9am after breakfast, clean up, getting dressed and a little TV time, we sat down for something similar to Circle Time. We read some Bible stories and other books, tried to sing but the girls weren't cooperating, and said a prayer. It also turned into a training session for Sarah- learning to sit still that is. After we read the books again per Alexa's request, I put Sarah in the playpen with some toys and set Alexa up with playdoh at the table. I made dinner in the crockpot and switched laundry. Then Sarah moved to the highchair and did playdoh while I wiped down all the kitchen appliances and bleached my sink. Then I cleaned the laundry room. I decided we better get out of the house for awhile after that because it was getting rather fume-y. So the kids played with sidewalk chalk while I cleaned out the car. Boy was it in bad shape, eww.

Anyways, it's harder to do this after Leiah comes home, but my goal each day is to have everything done before she gets home, including dinner and clean up. Then I have more freedom to sit and play or read, or we can watch a movie, go outside whatever. The main thing is I'm not distracted. I did have time today to make some homemade graham crackers. They are Leiah's favorite snack and I wanted to try a healthier version. They came out great! Everybody enjoyed them. I'll post the recipe soon.

My next project is planning and preparing for a very large combined birthday party in less than 12 days. I think I can do it, and it's now or wait till after Christmas. I think the most fun part of it all will be making the cake- two bundt cakes on top of each other with orange icing makes a pumpkin shape! Add a green cupcake for the stem and add other decorations, maybe. We also have to somehow drink 5 two liter bottles of soda or something similar before then so we can use them as 'bowling pins' for gourd bowling, LOL! That sounds hilarious. And I just remembered we're celebrating my mom and my brother-in-law's birthdays this Saturday, which I am supposed to bake my famous Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cheesecake. The bad part is, I lost the recipe!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last time I guessed and it worked. I am almost banished from all family functions if I forget to bring the cheesecake....hope I can remember the recipe.

I was also greatly blessed to go shop for some clothes yesterday, and found an awesome skirt! I'll get pictures soon.

Good for you! I think my dad is gonna start taking the probiotics!

I use to like to spread my "work" out over the day. Then I realized that I worked better in the morning and that freed up my afternoons to rest or be able to go with friends if they called - which was usually in the afternoons.

I didn't like the change at first, but soon realized I was able to do more by changing how I do things.

That said.. I need to go find something for supper so it can defrost and do a 15 min cleaning session in the living room. Kitchen and dining room done!

That was a great post! It was very motivating and upbeat. You got a lot done and it sounds like you had a fantastic time as well.

Way to go!

PS - I emailed you yesterday about getting together. Did you get my email? :-)
