Pictures

Thanksgiving Day at our house with my family and Matt's parents. See the fatness??

Me working with baby- my sister and brother-in-law were visiting. Major fat pic!

Ouch! Wake up call now...

New baby Samantha pictures...she is about 4 months old now, trying to sit by herself, prefers to stand but also loves her playpen, is eating much better from the bottle and is loving food from the spoon as well. She really resembles my husband in these pictures, but then she looks different too. Hard to tell who she looks like the most.

Jessica, I think you're beautiful no matter your size. :-)

Little Samantha's getting big. I espcially like the bottom pic - a precious smile.

It looks like y'all had a great ThanksGiving.

Don't get down on yourself. Weight takes time to get off, especially if you want to come off healthy and stay off. I gained all mine when I quit smoking, but it was worth every pound. I quit to make a difference for my children. Now I am taking the steps to be even healthier for my children. We will both get to where we need to be in order to be healthy :) You have a beautiful family:)

"See the fatness?" Oh Jessica you crack me up!!!
I agree with Candy....you are truly beautiful. It is common to add some weight AFTER having a baby! It will come off and you will be amazed at how quickly. Just don't wait til you are almost 50 like me cause then it takes alot more work!

dont be soo hard on yourself, theres a time for everything, and the holidays are NOT the time to deprive yourself. coming from new york, i often wonder about the poor souls who perished on 9/11...we never know when our last moment will be, and a life deprived of small pleasures amounts to nothing. i wonder how many people didnt have the donut, or whatever, and boom..gone in a flash. you(and i !) will lose the weight as slowly as we put it on, making sensible choices, and moderating our eating, and (ugh) exercising. the family is lovely! im telling you, one day i will ahve a blog, you inspire me so much!!

Don't be so hard on yourself. You just had a baby, you're taking care of 4! high-energy little girls, you're doing a great job. The weight will come off eventually, so don't beat yourself up about it. I think you look great. :-)

cute pictures. thanks for sharing with us.

I know you don't know me at all, but I read your blog fairly regularly, and the other ladies are right....you are a beautiful woman of God!

I do have a recommendation, however, for changing the way we think about losing weight and eating. I am reading 'The Beck Diet Solution.' It's not a Christian book, but so far, I have not seen anything that is anti-Christian or new agey. It simply helps us to change the way we think about food. I have been able to include the Lord in every part I have read, because I know my body is the temple of His Holy Spirit and I belong to Him.

I really enjoyed the pics of your little baby...she's so happy! It's no wonder with a great mom like you!
